Free Snowman Crochet Pattern

It’s week number 2 of our little Holiday craft-a-long, and time for another adorable free pattern!

Once again, this pattern is cute, quick, and really fun to work up.  I know your crafting time is very precious this time of year!

Just as a reminder for those of you who may have missed week #1…..We’re crafting up these cute little pot holders (or trivets…or hot pads) so we’ll all be able to add some awesome fun to our Holiday tables.  After we’re done making all of them, I’ll be asking you to submit a photo of your Holiday Pot Holders in action!  Everyone who submits a photo of all their finished pot holders together will be entered to win 10 of my patterns (or entry into my next 2 Mystery Create-A-Longs) for free!  You’ll have until January 1st to submit.

Want to join in on the fun!?  You’ll find the free Christmas Tree Pot Holder Pattern from week #1 by clicking here.

Come and share your photos with everyone in the Melody’s Makings’ Facebook group along the way…..or e-mail me your photos at I always love seeing them!

  14. Melody

I just discovered your Christmas potholder patterns. Do you make them from a cotton yarn or doesn’t it matter?

    • I used mine more as hot pads for things I knew wouldn’t melt them….if you’re planning to use them with really hot dishes, then you should definitely use cotton 🙂

  15. Thank you for the two free patterns,I truly will enjoy!

  16. This looks like a great pattern
BUT it is not fair that you make us sign up for another site just to get YOUR free pattern.
Why cant you let us get it from you

    • I’m not sure what you’re referencing as there are no sign ups required to get this pattern. If you don’t have a Ravelry account, then simply skip that step 🙂 Be sure to read the instructions thoroughly so you don’t miss the download link.

  17. Hello. And Bye.

  18. Melody are you alright? I haven’t had a email from you in a while. Just checking.
