DIY Wreath Tutorial

I needed a little break from my normal knit and crochet projects this week, so I decided to try something new….a DIY Wreath!  I made mine patriotic by using red, white, and blue, however this project would look absolutely great with any set of coordinating colors.  This project matches perfectly with my patriotic mason jar cozy if you also knit and crochet.

This fabric wreath is a quick and fun way to add a little bit of homemade decor to your home.  My video tutorial will walk you through exactly how to make a DIY Wreath yourself.  You can get all the supplies shown at Michaels (or probably any other craft store).  Enjoy!

Now…let’s break it down into simple steps.
Don’t get caught up on the details – this easy diy wreath is all about simplicity.

Supplies:

An assortment of fabric in the colors of your choosing.
Styrofoam wreath base
Glue Gun
Thick 1.5-2″ ribbon
Scissors

How to Make a DIY Wreath:

1. Cut small circles of fabric.
2. Fold the circles in half twice, gluing them down in one spot each time.
3. Unfold the glued circles to create fabric flowers.
4.  Glue fabric flowers to Styrofoam wreath base.
5.  Tie ribbon into cute bow and glue that on too.
Enjoy!
