The knit version of my Floral Diaper Cover and Headband Set Pattern was actually one of the very first patterns I wrote. I can’t believe it’s been over 4 years since then! Still, this pattern is a favorite among my customers….after all, gorgeous flowers never go out of style, right!?
Since I’ve been really enjoying making cute girly things for my sweet Netherlee since she arrived, this seemed like the perfect time to finally fill the requests for a crochet version of this beautiful pattern. As you can see, this design is not only a really great, nicely fitting diaper cover (that yes – does work well with a diaper underneath! I’ve tested it myself, hehe) pattern, but also works beautifully for those sweet baby photos.
The flower used in this pattern is very similar to the one I used in my Autumn Lovin’ Dress pattern that was the design for the last Mystery Create-A-Long. I’ve had SO many wonderful compliments about the way it’s created…..It really does turn out quite stunning. Though these flowers look really tricky, the concept is actually pretty simple. I’ve also included some step by step photos for that section, though. Just in case you need that bit of extra help.
I’ve written both patterns in all sizes Newborn through 1-3 Years so your cute diaper covers and gorgeous headbands can grow with your little ones.
