Legging Lover Tunic
This adorable free crochet summer tunic pattern is perfect for girls of all sizes.
Because I absolutely love wearing leggings, especially in the warmer weather, I’m always a big fan of long tunic style tops that look cute with a fun pair of leggings.
The Legging Lover Tunic was designed for all the legging lovers like me.
My daughter Netherlee is also very much a fan of tight, legging style pants. So it made a lot of sense to design this pattern to fit her.
Confession – I did actually design this pattern through adult sizes, but I haven’t finished my own sample version yet….and so for now I decided to go ahead and share the child sizes – because really – what good is this pattern doing simply sitting in my collection waiting for some attention?

Repeat Row 55 until the front of your project matches the same length as the back. Fasten off. Secure and weave in all ends.
Line front and back up at the arm holes. With right sides together, SC the two side seams securely. Continue to seam up onto the triangular bit of fabric on the front side of the arm hole approx. 1-2” on each side in order to pull the side of the front bust area down for a better fit. Fasten off. Secure and weave in all ends.
(Optional) If you’d like a V-neck that is less deep, you can also seam the very bottom of your V to the desired fit.
I added 5 SC sts to the inside of mine at that spot. Turn right side out.
To trim out the project, connect a new strand of yarn and follow this pattern:
*SC each of next two sts, 3 DC sts in next stitch* Repeat around each section that needs trim.

Fasten off. Secure and weave in all ends.
