As crafters, I’m sure we’ve all had our fair share of embarrassment…..I know I have!  It was pretty humiliating when that knit blanket I made for my nephew turned into a table runner and chewed holes through itself (that couldn’t have been me dropping stitches!  No way!).  Or that time I bragged on myself the whole time I crocheted up a cute little baby sweater, only to realize that the final product was doll sized (yes….this is before I knew the importance of checking gauge!).

Anyone who has stepped out of their comfort zone and attempted something new can probably relate….yet somehow, those are the projects that we remember the most!  Those are the stories that we tell to our crafty friends and that really make an impact.  Those are the projects that we learn and grow the most from…..
