This adorable textured kitty hat pattern was designed specifically for my sweet Netherlee.  I’m absolutely in love with the elegant texture of the smock stitch, and I knew I just had to incorporate it into another hat design for her.  I couldn’t be happier with the result!

Every time Netherlee wears this hat, she gets SO MANY Ooos and Ahhhs!  Nobody can resist such a cute little kitty!  And as her Mommy, you know I love showing off my adorable little girl….so all of the attention she gets when wearing this hat is definitely well received, haha.

Smock Stitch Kitty Hat Crochet Pattern

I’m really excited to share this pattern with you, because I know you’ll love it just as much as I do.  It’s a beautiful, light-weight design, which is really so fun to make.  Smock stitch looks extremely intricate, but it’s actually quite simple.  I’ve included a link to a photo or video tutorial (depending on if you’re doing the knit or the crochet version) in the pattern, so you’ll have the help you need to get started.  Once you get the stitch down, you’ll fly right through the pattern.  And with all sizes Newborn through Adult included, you can make as many as your heart desires.
