Birthday Boy!

My little guy is turning 4 this week and we had a Monster Truck Bash this past weekend!  Just have to share this happy face because I love it so much…..and that’s my job since I’m first and foremost “Mommy” right!?

  1. Congratulations on you’re big boy, and the cake looks amazing. My Son turned 5 last januari. Time flies when you are having fun, right.

His request was simple, ‘I want a bleu with yellow cake’ that was the only demand. Lol

  2. Priceless moments. Thanks for sharing

  3. Love this site

  4. AWESOME Monster Truck! Happy Birthday to the little man! Looks like he loved it!

    • He did! He keeps saying “That was the best birthday party ever!” Makes me feel like all that effort was so, so worth it <3

      • It is always worth the effort 🙂 He will remember that for the rest of his life…maybe not that particular party, but his mothers effort! 🙂

  5. Happy Birthday to Charlie! Hold on to these moments, they go by so quickly.

  6. You did a great job on the cake. Charley looks so happy and he will remember how special you made his day. He looks so much like his mommy, adorable!

  7. How wonderful !

  8. Please take all the time you can with your little ones.It seems like only yesterday that my daughter was a baby. Now she has her own family, and about to be a Grandmother, which makes me a great-grandmother(due in July,a boy).I have been blessed. So enjoy your little ones while you can. We will wait for you.

    • Thanks Joan! I most definitely will. I feel so lucky to have found a career I love which allows me to work around Charlie’s schedule 🙂

    Carol

  10. Super cute!

  11. AW! he is precious! and your cake is just awesome!
You are absolutely right! the time you spend with them now is so special! I personally think the country – the world – would be better off if more Moms stayed at home and did what God intended – to care for and nurture their precious children! You cannot make it up to them….and you cannot replace any of those precious at home minutes, hours spent every day…
I applaud you! I stayed home with my four when they were little – and though we may have had fewer material things….we had LOVE and they knew that Mom was always there for them…There’s nothing on this earth more important than that precious time!

    • Thanks Carol! I whole-heartedly agree and feel very, very lucky to have found a career that I love which allows me to be here and working around Charlie’s schedule 🙂

      • Thanks Melody,
Bless you and your family…it’s nice to see some who are taking the most important job in the world (raising our children) seriously!
There are so many little moments that working Moms miss…and worse – the children DO know that Mom’s not around…If I were your Mom, I’d be very proud of you!

“So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

  12. Great job Mom!
