  1. I love love crocheting. I can’t do much of anything else. I am handicap I thank all the people who keeps me in yarn. They just drop off all kind. Then I make hats for the homeless, the cancer patients, blanket for the bed campaign, and hat for heart baby’s, and also do hats, sweaters, booties, sleepers, and blankets for preemies. And when I have money I buy yarn also. I feel God has given me the talent that I should help thoughts who need help.

  2. Debra,
Just wanted to say what a great caring person you are!! What your doing with your talent is such a giving of heart & soul!! I too am ill & if I didn’t crochet or knit I don’t know what I would do except sit & feel sorry for me! I used to do giving baskets a group I started a few years ago at my church. Unfortunately it became to large for me to be in charge any more but a few sweet ladies & a gentleman were gracious to keep it going. I still make things to give. The group is about 45 volunteers strong & last October at our annual Festival my group donated $2500.00 to help feed & pay some parishoner’s bills. What an awesome feeling when you give back to your community & never forgetting where you came from!! God Bless you for the generosity you show! My Baskets were filled with a Christening outfit, 2 baby blankies, & 2 outfits. If the family needed something for siblings or themselves they would let the pastor know since I did this anonymously for 3 years. Only my priest & myself knew. LOL as someone slipped (not me) many requests came pouring in. They still do!! We are very Blessed ladies!!!

  4. I’m new to this site.
I started knitting to help long days of sitting at home recovering from slipped disc’s and also making things for my gorgeous grandbairns. It’s great to find site like yours. Thank you

  5. Crocheting saved me 25 & 27 years ago when I was on total bedrest during my pregnancies living far away from family. I treasure their baby blankets I made during that difficult time and look forward for their use on grandbabies! I am so grateful to God- both of my children are happy, healthy and wonderful adults.
